GWR London Paddington - Bristol Temple Meads Gallery + Short Summary

Dec 8, 2022
1 min read

As you can see from the gallery above; I've been silent here purely out of an unnecessary need to post as I'd been thinking: "Why to post if the topic won't garner positive responses?" Nonetheless, I chose to post this gallery of photos from my journey to Bristol's main railway terminus: Temple Meads.

From the scenic idyll of Bath Spa to the bustle of Reading; I hope that you can get an insight into rail travel around the London area; the West of England and the Bristol metropolis, as well as some extra pictures of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, built by the Great Western Railway's lead engineer: Isambard Kingdom Brunel. I hope to travel to Abergavenny in Monmouthshire, Wales in late December, as part of my Xmas break.

If the situation proves positive from this gallery post, I might think to document my journey to Abergavenny in a few weeks. I'm hoping that this will bear fruit due to a slew of RMT strikes targeting the entirety of the UK rail network during the Christmas holidays; for whatever reason that I cannot fathom.

I'll see you all on the other side.
