The Young Tube Driver

Today's post is going to be a bit different, as it's more anecdotal; reflecting on a story that occurred early in 2014; so let's go!


One day in May 2014, I didn't know what I would be getting myself into; needless to say it blew me away; REWIND: My mum had gotten a message from one of her friends who worked with Transport for London (TfL) as a Jubilee Line driver; and he let me drive a unit around the test track (under his supervision of course) in the Stratford New Town depot.


I've got some photos as evidence and even a 3.5 minute video to show all.


Apologies if the video is squished into a portrait mode; that was just the way the iPhone video recording was compressed whilst it was converting it to a relevant file extension for placement here.
